Ava Lynnae

Would drink nothing but juice if I would let her.

Hates lotion. (but has dry skin)

Likes to 'relax on the couch.'

Has always required less sleep than Gracie and frequently wakes up an hour earlier than Gracie, both in the morning and after nap time.

Likes to wink.

Is scared of thunderstorms.

Likes to pretend she is a dog (by panting) or a cat (by meowing).

Loves to wash dishes. (so does Gracie)

Is pretty confident.  If I say, "You're awesome, Ava" she will say, "Yes, I am awesome" or "Mmhmm, I am."  If I say, "You did a good job" she will say, "Yes, I did do a good job." 

Really gets upset if you don't let her do something herself.  I handed her a banana the other day and she grumbled (because she wanted to get it herself, which I didn't realize) and set it back on the counter.  She stood there for a second and then reached up and got it herself. 

Frequently says: 

"You 'member when..."  It could be something that happened 2 minutes ago, or many months ago.

"You're my girl."  (high praise)  "I like Curious George.  He's my girl."  "You are my girl, and Jody is my girl."  "There's Uncle John...he's my girl."  

"Whew!  That was close!"  (sometimes it makes sense, sometimes not)
"You wanna smell my feet?"  (when we're sitting on the couch reading books)

"I need to play outside."  "I need to go outside in my backyard."  "I need to swing in my backyard."  "I need to go to the park."

Is happy to pose for the camera.
