Ava took our picture at the mall the other day. My mom MADE this hat!
She cut up an old jean skirt of mine,

and even lined the inside.
She also made this one:
Amazing, right?! I love them!

Beautiful produce!
We got a juicer and have been playing around with it. I'm waiting on a particular recipe book to come out next week and then hopefully juice more regularly. Joel's not fond of my 'experiments'. LOL! I have definitely consumed some things that I might not otherwise, such as beets and ginger root. I've also been making fruit smoothies in the blender that have spinach in them. The fruit covers up the taste of the spinach, something else I never eat. My insides are happy!
I've started price-matching the produce at Wal-Mart. They seem to have the best produce around but not the best prices. I'm sold on price-matching though!
Both of the girls' hair is too fine/thin to hold a french braid, or even 2 french braids. So last week I did 4 braids on top and braided them into 2 braids in the back and that held very well. They loved them!
Ava was especially proud of her 'waves' the next day. We enjoyed a picnic in the back yard and even though the wind kept blowing her hair in her face and food, she didn't want it pulled back. And she is normally fanatical about not feeling hair on her face. She kept hoping Kyndra, or anybody, would stop by and see her hair. LOL!!!
