Rene, Donnie and Kayla came down for the weekend and we had a cookout at John and Jody's house.
It was sooo nice out!! It was 75 degrees out when we left the house to head over and Ava had goose bumps and said it was cold out. But if you think about it, that's 35 degrees cooler than it has been most of the summer!

Ava and Kayla sat here for a very long time, playing a game together on Jody's phone.
It was an absolute miracle! No fighting, no crying...quietly sharing and taking turns.
Joel took the girls to Rene's hotel that evening and let them swim in the pool. They wore life jackets and arm floaties and were able to 'swim' by themselves!! They absolutely loved it and keep asking to do it again! Joel took some pictures and videos on his phone so I will put those on here another day.
