Joel was gone from Tuesday to Sunday morning (he got in at 4:45 AM) last week. The girls really missed him! Here they are talking to him on toy phones:
We did a lot more shopping than usual, hung out at the mall, tried out the Burger King play area, and waited for him to get home so things would be back to normal! The first day he was gone was the day we went to the Children's Museum. We went a little out of the way on the way home and got to eat supper with Matt! We were gone for 12 fun hours!
Ava loved the Burger King play area we went to on Friday and kept asking to go again. Like, constantly asking from the moment we got home Friday until we finally went Monday morning! Amarah came along so that was fun for them!
They also talked to Jody and Jamie on the phone:
