Reading

I walked in the living room the other day and found Ava on the couch reading her Bible:
And Gracie sitting on the bench, reading her devotional:
What spiritual children.

Haha!  =)

Bike Riding

They each got ten gold $1 coins as their 'prize' for being in Jamie's wedding.  We went to Wal-Mart yesterday and they bought helmets with their money and I got them a basket to go on the front that came with tassels and a bell.
When Joel got home from work he got them all fixed up and took them to a park with a bike path.  He said they did good but there were a lot of inclines that made it hard for them so we'll probably stick with our driveway and street for awhile.
Or the kitchen:
(I love Ava's permanent smile...I think she was waiting for the camera to flash!)
Our kitchen table was used at Jamie's reception so we took the rug out and the girls have had a blast riding their bikes in the kitchen.  They will be so sad when we bring the table back!

At Last

Jamie's wedding was today!!  Sadly, these are the only 2 pictures I got with my camera, but Matt and Amanda were there and took close to 400 (mostly of the girls) so I KNOW there will be some wonderful ones!

Practicing

I've started practicing curling the girls' hair for the wedding.  First I tried sponge rollers while they napped but they didn't do very well.  They would do better overnight of course but in order for them to sleep I have to do it on top of their head and that leaves a lot of straight hair.
Yesterday I tried hot sticks before church and they worked great.  I only left them in 2-3 minutes and the curls stayed for several hours!
I love it!
