Week Ff, Part 2

Frog craft, with moveable arms and legs!  I helped them write the F on top of the paper, and they each wrote the one underneath.
The frog is holding a fly in one hand and Ava told me that her frog was thirsty, so I cut a bottle out of white paper and glued it to his other hand.
Am I crafty, or what???  HAHA!!
Putting magnets (which stick to the cookie sheets) on the circles of this frog paper.
Gluing feathers to the Ff's on the paper.
Genie helped Ava with hers.
=)
Ava wanted to make a silly face after she saw Gracie's.
We traced their feet.
And fingerpainted (tried to draw letters) with chocolate pudding!
"Wahhh!  I got some on my face!"
Ava loved this and has asked to do it again several times since.
Proud of her messy face!
We went fishing.
Gracie caught 2 at once!
I taped F, f ,G, and g's on them and they sorted them into piles.
Gracie drew some E's and an F!

Ff is for Fish, Part 1

We tried some computer games on Starfall for the first time.  Operating the mouse was actually really difficult for them and took a lot of concentration.  Next time we do it I think I'll try to change the settings so the mouse moves slower.
I cut a fish shape out of construction paper and put a contact paper underneath so it was sticky, then we stuck tissue paper on it.
Gracie wrote her name for the first time!!!  The G is backwards, the A is upside down, and the C fell on it's face...but I LOOOOOOOVE it!
Coloring the Ff sign language paper.
Using Do-A-Dot marker to highlight the Ff's on the foot.
Coloring and cutting.
And gluing to construction paper.
Fish number puzzle.
Fixing the 9 and 10.
Measuring the fish with goldfish crackers.
Gracie wanted me to help her trace the lines, then she drew a face at the bottom.
Letter Hunt.
Coloring a flamingo with do-a-dot markers.
Standing like a flamingo.
Throwing money in the fountain at the mall!
Fingerpainting with a friend!
I'll add the rest of the Ff activities tomorrow.

Mopping

The girls helped me mop last week and they thought it was just about the funnest thing they had ever done!  They didn't want to quit and all day kept asking if they could do it again.
{Aunt Jody bought these cleaning carts for their birthday.}
Then I propped my feet up while they mopped the entry way!  =)

Recent Videos

When its too hot to play outside, you have to do something to burn energy!  I had scooted the couch out from the wall to vacuum under it and Gracie came up with this:

"Umm, no.  I can't right now."

Reed's laugh is sure to make you smile!

Gracie is reading 'Just One More Swim' and Ava is reading 'Are You Ready to Play Outside?'

Indoor playground.
